The Plans that you have recently submitted have been reviewed by the Fire Department referencing the 2016 edition of
the California Fire Code (CFC) and the 2016 Edition of NFPA 13. The enclosed plans are being returned for corrections. The
numbered comments listed below in the body of this letter must be addressed prior to Fire Department Approval of your
project.
1. Sheet 1. Line 8 of the underground notes shall read; "Underground piping shall be inspected by Butte County Fire
Department prior to backfill."
a. Call the inspection line at (530) 370-5107 to set up an appointment.
2. Sheet 2. Reword riser sign to say; "WHEN BELL RINGS CALL 9-1-1."
3. Control valves and tamper switches shall be electrically supervised by a listed fire alarm control unit.
4. Please resubmit plans with the above corrections. No need to resubmit calcs and cutsheets.
