These objections fo¡ the Riparian HabitatRestoration of the Singh Unit include the loss or conversion of prime agriculture lands and the lack of apermanent financial commitment to maintain the proposed project to the level anticipated by the HydraulicAnalysis Flood Neutrality Study. The Butte County Board of Supervisors continues to have an objection to the conversion of these primeagricultural lands to a non-agricultural use. In addition, we a¡e still very concemed that the proposed projectsflood neutrality maintenance relies on the State Parks and Recreation Department's annual operating budgetwhich is subject to budget reductions, especially during this ongoing State budget crisis. Therefore the Butte County Board ofSupervisors does not endorse the proposed Riparian Habitat Restorationon the Singh Unit of the Bidwell-Sacramento River State Park.Sincerely,SteveRECEIVEDll|AR l7 20llComty of ButoD@ûnent of Pubuc WotktButte County Board of SupervisorsM.cc: John Tice, CVFPB
