RE: Building Permit No. B17-0069, APN 026-143-025
Dear: SINGH, CHARANVIR
Plans for the above referenced project have been routed to the Department of Public Works for
review of compliance with Butte County Code Section 26-12.1 (available on line at
http://municipalcodes.lexisnexis.com/codes/butteco/). Based on our initial review of the
information provided, the Department of Public Works has determined that the following items
will be required:
1. Construction of proper access from public roads including an asphalt concrete
driveway to the southern portion of the parcel. Prior to final inspection approval,
obtain an encroachment permit and improve all new and existing driveway
approaches to publicly maintained roads as specified in the county improvement
standards and the terms of the encroachment permit.
2. Prior to final inspection approval, drainage plans and calculations shall be
submitted to and approved by the Department of Public Works. Engineering
plans shall detail existing drainage conditions and specify how storm water runoff
will be either detained or retained onsite and/ or conveyed to the nearest natural
drainage channel or publicly maintained facility. Engineering calculations shall
show there is no increase in peak flow runoff leaving the property.
3. Prior to final inspection approval, deed to Butte County in fee simple 40 feet of
right-of-way from the physical centerlines of Lincoln Blvd. and Palermo Road
along the entire property frontage.
4. The construction of an enclosure for containers used to hold solid waste and/or
recyclable materials for collection is required.
Please submit sufficient information to the Land Development Division of the Public Works
Department, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, CA 95965 that demonstrates compliance with
County Code Section 26-12.1. Submit construction plans and/or engineering analysis in
duplicate in accordance with county improvement standards (available on line at
http://www.buttecounty.net/publicworks/Services/ImprovementStandards.aspx) along with a
$700.00 minimum plan checking deposit.
