Box 2195 Oroville, CA 95965 Attn: James W, Lenhoff, President Dear Mr, Lenhoff: February 17, 1982 RF: Bangor Church (AP 28-26-11) With reference to the above subject and the Special Inspection you requested concerning the conversion of the old church into a museum, this inspection was made on February 16, 19824 The inspection revealed the following items which should be resolved and included in your plans for preserving and restoring this buildings (1) Provide potable water to the building and provide a septic tank and leach lines per Butte County Health Department approval at such time as plumbing fixtures are provided in the building. (2) Make the building weather-tite, repair .any broken windows and repair the weather damaged ceiling, walls and floors. (3) Provide n handrail on the roar stairs, (4) Provide handicapped access to the front porch. (I suggest off the east side of the front porch.) You may also be able to provide some fill material to reduce the overall size and length of the ramp. Ramp slope maximum 1:12. The entire building should be properly supported and anchored to a foundation system.. �(6il Provide a new electric service and rewire the building or verify W p' D;e✓ adequacy of existing wiring system to be used.
