Dear Mr. and Mrs. Wyles:
With reference to the above subject and your proposal to provide electricity
to the living unit- at 123 Springcreek Rd., the .housing inspection was made
by -Howard Snyder of the Health Department and me on October 10, 1988.
Since. this living unit was constructed by a previous owner, you are not
responsible for obtaining the required permits for the building construction;
however, you. are .required .to. obtain the permits . from :this office- -and the
Health Department which are necessary to do the following:
(1) Install Health Department approved water supply and.sewage.:disposal
systems.
(2) Provide a vent for the kitchen sink and .connect the sink to the
sewage disposal system.
(3) Install a bathroom per code requirements. -
(4) Install a water heater.
(5) Rewire building to comply with code requirements.
(6) The wood stove must be installed with proper clearances to com-
bustibles, proper flue and clearances, and proper hearth.
(7) Discontinue attic use by elimination of ladder access - provide
a permanent closure.
(8) Provide adequate underfloor post and pier supports for overspanned
girders.
(9) Provide adequate underfloor bracing for deck area.
(10) Remove existing roof construction over large deck or re`',�'

Dear Mr. Keith:
We are replying to your letter of January 22, 1990, and our'
applications for permits. About two weeks ago we sent your
office the $171.75 for the required permits and said that we `
would be sending duplicate plans in the near future.
Specifically, we will address each of the items in the
Housing inspection letter dated 10/13/88.
(1). A well has been installed (1/89) and a septic system
is presently under construction. Both have been approved by
health department permits.
(2). The kitchen sink will be vented and connected to the
sewage disposal system.
(3). The bathroom will be installed per code requirements
(see sketch).
(4). An electric water heater will be installed.
(5). Wiring will be by an electrical contractor and com l

with code requirements.
(6). The wood stove clearances will be to code requirements-
with
equirementswith proper code flues and hearth (see sketch and note
below). ^
(7). Attic stairs will be removed and closed off.
(8). Underfloor post and pier supports will be installed
(see sketch).
(9). See attached sketch.
(10). See proposed improvements on sun awning over rear deck '
as per attached sketch. '
(11). Check by inspector 'to meet code.

With reference to the above subject and your proposal to provide electricity
to the living unit. at 123 Springcreek Rd.., the .housing inspection was 'made
-by.Howard Snyder -of the Health Department and :me on October 10, 1988.
Since this living unit was constructed by a previous owner, you are not
re6p6nsible for obtaining the required permits for the building construction;
however, -.you ,;are ,required .to,, obtain. the, permits- ,from .this-- office- -and--the
._.Health Department which are necessary to-do the following:
(1) Install Health Department approved crater supply and..s&t0age.:disposal
systems.
(2) Provide a vent for the kitchen sink and .connect the sink to the
-.sewage disposal.system.
(3) Install a bathroom per code requirements.
(4) Install a water heater..
(5) Rewire building to comply with code requirements.
(6) The wood stove must be installed with proper clearances to com-
bustibles, proper flue and clearances, and proper hearth,
.(7) Discontinue attic use by elimination of ladder access - provide
a permanent closure.
(8) Provide adequate underfloor post and pier supports for overspanned
girders.
(9) Provide adequate underfloor bracing for deck area.
(10) Remove existing roof construction over large deck or reconstruct
per code.
