the plan examiner's comments are listed below. Please respond in writing to each item by
completing and returning the enclosed PLAN REVIEW RESPONSE FORM. Your complete
and clear response will expedite the re -check and approval of this project.
NON-STRUCTURAL COMMENTS:
1. Provide a letter from the engineer stating he has reviewed the Longfellow truss calcs and
the calcs have incorporated the correct spans and loading criteria.
2. Windows 11 and 12 must be tempered, as they are within 24" of adjacent door jambs.
3. The Plot Plan correctly notes a 50' setback to the centerline of the right of way, but is
dimensioned to the property line. Please correct the dimension point.
4. Provide WP GFIC outlet at the front porch.
5. Provide additional outlet between the Kitchen sink and cooktop, or provide power for the
dishwasher.
6. Provide additional outlet at the end of the Kitchen peninsula counter.
7. Calculate and specify method of achieving required attic ventilation.
8. Specify two small appliance circuits in the Kitchen, plus a dedicated 20A circuit in each
Bathroom and Laundry serving no other rooms.
9. Provide additional outlet within 6' of the fireplace in the Nook.
10. Provide a disconnect at the HVAC compressor.
11. Specify stucco screeds no closer than 4" from earth, and 2" from paving.
STRUCTURAL COMMENTS:
1. Girder B2 must incorporate a 1.8K point load from the girder truss A2.
2. Detail the connection of the 5-1/8" x 9" GLB and the 5-1/8"x12" GLB at the 6"x6"
column at the patio corner.
3. Detail A Sheet 2 must show anchor bolts extending 7" minimum into the first pour, or
alternatively design and show steel stirrups connecting the two pours.
4. Plans must indicate the use of 6" x 10" DF #1 headers (typical) per calculations p. 29.
5. The Drag Schedule on Sheet 7 is illegible. Please reprint using a larger font.
