Enclosed are three copies of the floor plans of Mr. Whitchurch's garage. It is my understanding you have three plot plans in this matter already. Regarding the existing equipment, Mr. Whitchurch- does not have anything affixed.to the realty, all equipment,being movable. However, if you would note on the plot plan I have written in three items: 1) In the upper left hand corner I show a compressor; 2) In the upper right hand corner I have drawn ,in some shelves, not attached, that measure 24 X 1; and, 3) In'the lower left hand corner you will note I have drawn in a work bench which measures approximately 24' X,21'. Additionally, two 14 X 14 metal roll up doors have been installed on the premises by.the Door.Company, at a cost of $1,543.00. The shop is to be used by Mr. Whitchurch for work on his equipment,. including the repair of tire, brakes, engines, transmissions, and rear ends. It is my*understanding that, after the receipt of this information, you or one of your officers will inspect the property to determine if.any additional work on the premises should be accomplished for compliance with the law. Please let me know the results of'this inspection. Whitchurch 1239 Bruce Street Chico, CA 95926 Dear Mr. Whitchurch: October 5, 1983 RB: Building Permit AP 946-123-1 With reference to the above subject and your letter dated September 29, 1983, the following is the history of events leading to my letter of September 19, 1983: (1) On March 186 1983, JoAnn Whitchurch applied for.an Agricultural Building Exemption Permit for a 30' x 50' building to be used for storage of feed and agricultural equipment. (2) On March 23, 1983, I wrote you a letter indicating a trucking opera- tion or business was being conducted on the property and questioned the , agricultural use. - (3) On April 26,,1983, North Valley Ready Mix applied for a building' permit to construct a 30' x-50' private garage, shop and storage building. :Also, an April 26, 1983, letter from you indicated this building would be used as a private workshop for your -own use together with storage of your personal belongings. (4) On May 100 1983, based upon your letter and the permit application, we issued the building permit for the requested use. (5) On or about September 13, 1983, we received information indicating this building was being used to repair trucks and equipment. (6) On September 19, 19839 I wrote the letter requesting you obtain the required permits to convert the private garage and storage building.to the commercial operation (repair garage). (9) On September 29, 1983, the letter written by yourself indicates you are in fact using the building for fixing your trucks and storing parts and equipment. r Maurice B.
