The inspection was made as part of the rehabilition project currently underway in the Chapmantown area south of Chico. The dwelling is a one story, wood frame structure, with composition shingle roof and stucco exterior. There is a concrete foundation. The house appears to be in good condition. There was evidence of a roof leak in the rear bedroom, and wall damage in dining -living room area from roof leak or water seepage. Living room window was broken, and front door was damaged. Cover plate was missing on wall switch in laundry area. The water heater lacked a discharge line on the temperature pressure relief valve, and there was evidence of combust- ibles being stored too close to the water heater. No other health or safety hazards noted. The house is served by community water, electricity, natural gas, and a private septic tank system. There are two trailers on site without approved utility, water and sewage disposal facilities. In order to rehabilitate the dwelling under this program the following will be required: I 1. Recommend completing repairs as listed in bid list, specifically items 1, 2, 6, 8, 9, 10 and 11. See attached list. I 2. Provide cover plate on wall switch in laundry.:.area. 3. Obtain permits for the two trailers to install utilities hookups for water, gas, electricity ans sewage disposal or remove the i trailers. AP# 05-383-14 Dear Ms. Bauguess: On June 26, 1986, an inspection was made of the above listed dwelling unit. The inspection was made as part of the rehabilition project currently underway in the Chapmantown area south of Chico. The dwelling is a one story, wood frame structure, with composition shingle roof and stucco exterior. There is a concrete foundation. The house appears to be in good condition. There was evidence of a roof .leak in the rear bedroom, and wall damage in dining -living room area from roof leak or water seepage. In order to rehabilitate the dwelling under, this program the following will, ..be required: 1. Recommend completing repairs as listed in bid''list, specifically ,items 1, 2, 6, 8, 9, 10 and 11. See attached,;;list. 2. Provide cover plate on wall switch in laundry:.:area. 3. :Obtain permits for the two trailers to install'':utilities hookups for water, gas, electricity ans sewage disposal or remove the :trailers.
