The following is based on the fact -that parking lots routinely carry traffic loads that must be supported by both the paving and the underlying materials: 1. Locate, open and pump the septic tank. Haul the septage to an approved disposal `site. 2. Remove and dispose of any redwood or other decomposable material. 3. Fill the tank and other open spaces with a two sack concrete and pea gravel or similar material slurry mix. 4. Call for Environmental Health special inspections of both the pumped tank and the completed slurry fill. Possible fees related to the inspections do not need to be included in the bid. Providing for a separate parcel: Section 66428 (2) of the Subdivision Map Act allows a local jurisdiction to convey a parcel without a parcel map. Certain findings must be made, (there is a basis for those findings here), and a legal description of what is to be conveyed must be generated. We measured a 100 ft. x 70 ft. section around the house to create its own parcel. Those .measurements provide sufficient information to develop a legal description.
