The Butte County Assessor's records indicate you are the owner of the property. On February 26, 1990, an inspection of the house was conducted by this department. The following conditions were noted which are in violation of the California Health and Safety Code, Sections 17920.3(a)(1)(6)(13)(14)(15)(b)(1)(2)(c)(d)(e) . (g)(2)(j), and pose health and safety hazards and render the dwelling substandard: 1. Wood to earth contact on exterior walls of the house. 2. Windows are broken in the bedroom, bathroom and living room. 3. Drain line from bathtub wastes drains onto ground. 4. Water heater lacks double venting, temperature and pressure relief valve, discharge line and gas shut-off. 5. Bathtub lacks a watertight enclosure. 6. Bathtub and bathroom sink plumbing leaks. 7. Unsafe wiring was observed throughout both the interior and exterior of the house. 8. Floor is damaged throughout kitchen and living room areas. 9. Rear door was broken. 10. Exterior weather proofing is inadequate on south wall. 14. Trash and garbage was observed thoughout yard. 15. An unsecured refrigerator was observed in backyard. These conditions shall be corrected as follows, and within THIRTY (30) DAYS from receipt of this notice. Obtain all required permit from the Butte County Department of Public Works, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, prior to making repairs. 1. Eliminate earth to wood contact on exterior walls. 2: Repair or replace all broken windows. 3. Plumb bathtub waste line into the sewage system. 4. Repair or replace"defective water heater. 5. Provide watertight.enclosure for bathtub. 6. Repair plumbing leaks to, bathtub and bathroom sink. 7. Repair or replace all defective or unsafe wiring. 8. Repair or replace damaged floors. 9. Due to the substandard condition of the house involving imminent hazards with gas and electricity, Pacific Gas and Electricity has been notified to disconnect the gas and electricity. Clearance from this department and Butte County Public Works Department will be required prior to reconnection of utilities. If viola- tions are not to be corrected immediately, the house is to be secured so as to prevent entry.
