This Traveleze 8' x 35' unit was the first improvement moved onto our farm site at the time of purchase in 1974. It was and still is located on Parcel 3 of 44-03-21. Initially this unit was used as our construction office. In September of 1974 we located our ranch manager's 24' x 70' mobile home on the adjacent Parcel 2 of 44-03-21. At that time all utilities, hookups and septic systems were installed in accordance with directions from your various agencies. In addition the septic system and leach fields were oversized to accommodate the planned hookup of our small unit and the farm shop. The Butler building farm shop was constructed during the winter of 1974. When the farm shop was completed we then moved one of our agricultural workers into the small unit. That initial unit has continually been on the property and used by us since we purchased the four parcels in 1974. It is still being utilized by one of our agricultural workers and is a very significant factor to his and our economic well-being. We are in the farm business and have made a tremendous investment in developing this project. We are providing numerous jobs for farm workers and subcontractors. We have'an ongoing project which will continue to provide economic benefits for residents of this county. We are not interested in mobile home parks or other similar developments. It is most important to us to have onsite personnel for security, heat and frost protection and related activities. We do want peaceable use of our ranch and of course fully intend to comply with reasonable limitations. Our proper mailing address appears on our letterhead. The address utilized on your letter is that of Northern California Farm Management Corporation which initially owned both mobile homes. It may be that some of these difficulties arose from that former owner corporation's management. We have had other similar problems which we have systemically resolved and incidentally is the reason that entity is no longer involved in our operations. I previously have personally explained this situation by. telephone to Betty Blair in the Planning Department and have responded to inquiries from the Chico office of Public Health and Sanitation. I will contact the Butte County Planning Department per your recommendation and ask for zoning to allow our agricultural worker to continue residing in his home. Attached please find a plat map.
