t The purpose of this report is to provide a sitespecific analysis of
the minimum footing
requirements for the photovoltaic array groundtrac installation at 3462 Silverbell Rd
' in Chico, CA 95973.
' Based upon our review of the 12 Photovoltaic Arrays, installed 3 modules high and 24
modules wide. The PV Array shall have a transverse spacing of approximately 6.75 feet
on center and a longitudinal spacing of 10.00 feet maximum. Based upon a wind speed.
of 100 mph, Exposure C, it was determined that the minimum required footing depth is
24 inches minimum below grade for a 16 inch diameter pier footing. As an alternate a
18 inches minimum below grade for a 24 inch diameter pier footing may be used. The
' footing size is based upon the worst case loading due to horizontal and vertical wind loading.
