This particu4r orbal,Butte creek Canyon, is the road which is known as'Holltown ,Road 14 very narrow, is a road with some very dangerous curves in ,it and while we know that the county cannot provide any money to improve, this road it is a very dangerous, road, and, the more people that are on it, the more dangerous' it gets. A couple of the property owners, namely t-ir. Cheal and Mr. Busick, have indicated an, interest 'it7 getting some of their awn equip- ment together and getting together with the neighbors and attempting to improve the road. Our Public Works Department has suggested that we 'might provide some advice, if not anYthing else, so that all I want to do is say that when this particular rezone or'any others come back for lot splits, and so on, I'm going to expect that those neighbors will have gotten together by that time and have decided to do something about the road. That is to say that appllication for further splitting clown there should really address that road problem -- realignment of it, or, whatever and some consultation with our Public Works Department for advice, ,t; least. And I would hope that neighbors would get together and, with that preface in the record, I would find that the requirements Of CEQA have been completed and considered in making this decision: and adopt a negative declaration and find that the proposed rezone does conform to the policies of the Butte County General plan and adopt an ordinance for 100 acres,r more or less, to FR -5 for Assesor°s ''i'arcel,s 63--02r-23i 38-,39-22--17, 51-41-01., 31, 03,' 041 05, 08, 51-41-.10, 11,. 1.3, 14, 15 and 16, Abbie Lauer r .. { of fo Co. pldrinill0q COMM A PLICATION FOR VARIAN r BUTTE COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION APR 2, () 1987 Ori+,ilta 6ifarna ` APPLICANT: _Read and follow instructions as set forth on attached sheet. elloI Phone Applicant's Name — No. m "ei licant'sMail g ess x Applicant's in Addr, Applicants interest in property (Owner, lessee, other)_0-'f --- , Owner's Name and Address -----~--~ W--~----- 0ontaot PL son for Project (!f other than applicant) CVJ Assessor's Parcel Numbers) q Q '"f Present Zoning W r` .', Location and size of pareei(s) 4C •- street address -- -' — for travel to (rural and mountainous areas oni'y)-Ak 1,?"eqr` Directions property _J ' Type of variance requested: Lot area or building site Mobile home size Lot width Parking requirements Front yard setback Livestock requirements ._ Side or rear yard setback _ uign requirements Other (specify) -- CS special cum eess ( fer to instruction No. 6 on attached sheet) Dascription t proposed use and ason for vac(ance because , ..
