Our records indicate there are no previously recorded sites of this type located within the project boundaries. However, records indicate that there: are nine sites of this type recorded within a one mile radius of the project area. These sites include rockshelters, a cave, bedrock mortars, and lithic scatters. Additionally, our records indicate there are ten, other unrecorded sites that may contain prehistoric resources within the one mile. HISTORIC RESOURCES't There are no previously recorded sites of this type known to be located within the project boundaries. However, two sites of this type have been recorded within the one mile radius. CA -BUT -583 is recorded: as the foundations of a nineteenth century stone fence, and CA -BUT -950--H is recorded as two rock walls.
