Dear Mrs. Glenn:
This is a Formal Warning Notice. Pursuant to Butte County Code (BCC), Section 41-2, we sent you a
Courtesy Notice dated January 4, 1999, notifying you that you are in violation of the BCC at the above -
referenced location. As of this date, the following violations still exist:
BCC Section 31-50- Failure to Remove Solid Waste (Tires)
You are hereby directed to contact a licensed waste tire hauler to remove all waste tires from the site.
These tires must be disposed of at an approved facility. You should obtain from the hauler a waste tire
manifest for all tires and have the manifest available for audit.
This is your final warning. Unless you contact this office and make the proper arrangements to correct or
abate the violation(s) voluntarily, within ten (10) days from the date of this letter, enforcement may be
pursued through the issuance of a citation (ordering you to appear in court) for said violation(s) and for failing
to comply with this warning letter.
Upon conviction of said violation(s) or failing to comply with this letter, the court shall impose penalties
(fines) and a Notice of Violation shall be recorded in accordance with Butte County Code Section 41-7. The
Notice of Violation shall include a description of the premises, the violation concerns, a description of the
violation, the date of your conviction and the action necessary to correct or abate the violation(s).
If you have any questions, please contact me at the Chico office between 8am and 9am, Monday through
Friday.

We sent you a warning letter dated October 5, 1992 -notifying you that you
are in violation of the Butte County Code at the above referenced location.
As of this date, the following violations stilt! exist.
Failure to obtain the required permits, inspections and approvals from-
this
romthis office for construction of numerous structures in violation of
the 1988 Uniform Building Code as adopted by Section 26-1 of the Butte
County Code as follows-:
(a) Section 301(a) Permits Required
(b) Section 305(a) Inspections Required
(c) Section 305(d) Inspection Approval Required before Use or Occupancy
The above violation(s) shall be corrected or abated by you by submitting
three (3) complete sets of plans, applying for the required permits, and
paying the appropriate fees, including penalties, within thirty (30) days
of the date of this letter. After permit issuance and field authorization
to proceed, the work must be completed and approved by this office irithin
the permit specified time.
Failure to obtain the required permits, inspections and approvals from
this office for utilities and installation of one mobil_ehome and two
travel trailers in violation of the Mobilehone Parks Act of Title 25,
California Code of Regulations, adopted by Section 28A -1 -of the Butte
County Code as follows:
(a) 101£3 -Permits Required for any Plumbing or Electric
(b) 1048 --Inspections Required for any Plumbing or Electric
(c) 1324 -Permits Required for Mobilehome Installation
(d) 1326 -Inspections Required for Mobilehome Installation
Since the additional living units are not permitted in FR -20 zone, the mobile
home and travel trailer must be removed from the property or the occupancy
and use must terse and desist immediately and the mobilehome and travel
trailers be placed in dead storage.

RE: Building and Zoning Code Violations
In addition to the above violations, there are numerous electrical
hazards in violation of the Uniform Administrative Code Provisions
for 1987, The National Electric Coda adoptee! by Section 27-1 of the
Butte. County Code as follows:
(a) Section 102(4) Electrical systems and equipment must be maintained
in a safe and hazard free condition
(b) Section 202 Unsafe Electrical Systems and Equipment must be
Abated
The above violation shall be corrected or abated by repair, rehabil-
itation, demolition or removal by otaining permits to do the required
corrective work and paying the appropriate. fees within thirty (30)
days of the date of this letter.. After permit issuance, the work must
be completed and approved by this office within the specified time.
There are also approximately 35 junk 'cars stored on the property that
must be removed.
Unless the violation(s) is (are) so corrected or abated, a citation shall
be issued to you to appear in court for said violation(s) and for failing
to comply with this notice. Upon conviction of said violation(s) or :for
failing to comply with this notice, penalties shall be imposed and a Notice
of Violation recorded in accordance with Section 41-7 of the Butte County
Code.

On August 26, 1992, Scott Rutherford and I conducted a complaint investigation
of Mr. Glenn's residense at 14151 Centerville Rd., Chico. We were escorted by
Deputy Steven Pelton and- Deputy Jos VanHout of the Butte County Sherriff's
Department. We found Mr. Glenn to be very cooperative in showing us around.
We observed approximately 14 buildings, with and without electric power, ranging
in size from approximately 200 to 2,000 sq. ft. These building include a two -
seated outhouse, a shower building, misc. storage buildings and two buildings
being used for residential pccupancy. None of these buildings would meet the
minimum requirements of this Department and are unsanitary with the majority
of them being hazardous and in danger of structural failure.
In addition to these structures, we observed three mobile homes, partially
blocked, approximately 30 - 35 automobiles, chicken coops; and miscellaneous
items stored throughout the area we inspected..
We also noted hazardous electrical wiring throughout the various
