Glander Manager, Building Inspection On August 26, 1992, Scott Rutherford and I conducted a complaint investigation of Mr. Glenn's residense at 14151 Centerville Rd., Chico. We were escorted by Deputy Steven Pelton and- Deputy Jos VanHout of the Butte County Sherriff's Department. We found Mr. Glenn to be very cooperative in showing us around. We observed approximately 14 buildings, with and without electric power, ranging in size from approximately 200 to 2,000 sq. ft. These building include a two - seated outhouse, a shower building, misc. storage buildings and two buildings being used for residential pccupancy. None of these buildings would meet the minimum requirements of this Department and are unsanitary with the majority of them being hazardous and in danger of structural failure. In addition to these structures, we observed three mobile homes, partially blocked, approximately 30 - 35 automobiles, chicken coops; and miscellaneous items stored throughout the area we inspected.. We also noted hazardous electrical wiring throughout the various too many code violations to fist.
