Re: APN 11-280-082 Flood Plain On October 17, 1997 I made a survey of this property to determine the elevation of the Flood Plain. The National Flood Insurance Program maps (FIRM) for'this._area, Community Panel No. 060017 0125B, delineates the flood zone along Butte Creek at the subject property as :'Zone A" - no base flood elevation determined for the 100 year flood. I used the elevation of the high water mark of the 1996-1997 flood as criteria for flood plain elevation, as this flood is generally.considered to be a flood exceeding the 100 year flood.event. Elevations are based on NGVD 1929, and are as follows; High water = 401.9 feet (measured at bridge on Quail .Run Drive) Ground = 422.8 feet (Slab at front porch dwelling) The ground shot, 20.9 feet above high water mark, was taken at the front porch of'the dwelling approximately 1000 feet southerly of the bridge. In as much as the direction of Butte Creek is southerly at this point (and the creek elevation falls in this direction) I believe the 20.9 feet of elevation above the 1997-1998 high water to be a conservative value.
