The system installed on lot 15 and inspected on August 11, 1987, was not installed to the specifications of the approved engineered design (sand was not installed on both sides of leach trench). Prior to approving the system, it must be reconstructed as per the approved design or the following must be completed: 1. Verify fines in the dredging material on either side of the leach lines. This may be done by digging test holes 2 - 3 feet outside trench along both sides_of .trench. Call for inspection and approval when test holes have been dug. 2. Provide a 2 foot sand envelope on either side of 10 - 15 foot section on the north leach line which runs through cobbles with no fines. 3. Submit a letter from a civil engineer stating that the system as installed provides equal or better altration than approved by the engineered design.
