long-term impacts will endure into the future.)

the impact on each resource is relatively small, but where the effect of the
total of those impacts on the environment is significant.)

DISCUSSION OF ENVIRONMENTAL EVALUATION Air# 21-01-09, etc,
1b: No significant disruption, displacement, compaction or
overcovering of the soil is anticipated to occur as a result of this
project. Though this proposed tentative parcel map application will
merely subdivide large tracts of land in an agricultural, operation, it
is not intended to place any additional single-family residences on the
newly -created parcels.
le: The subdividing of farmland could result in a cha.age in current
farm practices and/or management, which may result in
management po1_icies. However, soil erosion has not h 6torically been a
problem in the project area. Maintaining generally aCcepted soil,
managementpractices and policies on the newly -created parcels is
anticipated to mitigate any significant impact in rela'Llonshi.p to soil
erosion by wind or water.
i 1g: The primary soil types identified at the project site are not
considered prime agricultural soils. The soils are, however, well
suited to rice production,
3b: The drainage patterns of the area have been altered by
agricultural management practices. Numerous natural, and man-made
drainage canals cross the property. The proposed subdivision will not
directly result in any changes to the existing drainage
farming practices which may result in drainage impacts, patterns or
