Crim: hrtr+yC'} �f ' October 2, 1985 RE: Special Inspection f35-85 AP #21-02-03 With reference to the above subject and your proposal to move the house/duck club building on your property off the South side of Gridley Colusa Hwy just East'of Butte Creek, the requested inspection was made on October 1, 1985. The inspection revealed the following items which must be done or resolved if the building is to be relocated: (1) The property is within the Fedekal Flood Hazard Zone A, which will require the floor level of the building to be placed at or above the 100 year flood level.* A California registered engineer or land surveyor must determine that level and identify it. in the field by a bench mark for field verification. (2) The building must be placed on a foundation system which will satisfy the flood level criteria. If other than a conventional foundation, the design must be made by a California registered civil engineer or architect. (3) Provide sewage disposal and water supply systems per Health Department requirements. These systems must also satisfy their requirements for areas within the floodway. (4) Make structural changes as may be required after plan check review of building plans. (5) Provide conforming stairway and -handrails at entrance to building. (6) Replace the wood stove flue with a conforming flue and provide floor :Protection and hearth per code requirements. , (7) Remove all flues extending through the roof which are not in use. (14) Recommend providing attic insulation of at least R19. (15) Provide smoke detectors in accescg areas to bedrooms. It is now in order for you to submit two complete sets of plans including plot plan. floor plan and structural details to this office and apply for the required permits and pay the appropriate fees. I was not able to determine the location of the permanent pole on which you requested a separate permit. If proposed in the area of the relocated building, we can issue that permit. Description: The Hacner assembly, blocks are concrete units com- plying with Grade N units as specified in U.B.C. Siandard No. 24-4. The units are available in nominal sizes of 8 x 4,x 1� (stretcher). 8 x 4 x 8 (one-half) and 8 x 4 x 16 (corner block). Six- and,8-inch-high blocks are also available together with 6 -inch -wide units. The units are similar to conventional hollow concrete units but with lugs, yrojections and recesses to provide interlocking without mortared hemi or bed joints. These include special shapes for corners, jambs and other locatigns. The space between the face shells is filled solidly with portland cement grout conforming with Section 2403 (r) and Table No. 24-A of the Uniform Building Code.
