Section 26-1 of the Butte County Code states that.the County has adopted the 1982 Edition of the Uniform Building Code. The Uniform Building Code requires that all persons constructing buildings within the County of Butte, except for agricultural buildings,.*are required to obtain a permit from the County Building Department. Section 26-6 of the Butte County Code states that: "(a) It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to erect, construct, alter, repair, move, remove, improve, convert demolish or equip any building or structure in ' the unincorporated areas of the county or,to, cause the same to be done contrary to or in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter.
