Building permits are valid for one year and should construction be started but not completed by the expiration date of the permit, the permit shall be renewed for 1/2 the original Building Permit Fee (plus a $10.00 "Filing Fee"). The renewal permit will extend the Building Permit for an additional year from the original expiration date. Should you not renew your permit in a timely manner, it cannot be renewed and all work must cease until a new building permit is issued. If your construction is completed or should you have any questions concerning this matter, please contact the Oroville office.
