DISCUSSION OF ENVIRONMENTAL EVALUATION AP # 22-15-31, 34, 35
lb, 3'c: The M--2 zone allows for a wide variety of uses on-site.
Extensive amounts of overcovering of the soil with buildings and
asphalt are possible. This would result in increased runoff and
drainage improvements. However, the land does not have to be divided
for this development to occur. This project will not, by itself, have
any significant impact.
lh: All of Butte County is within a moderate earthquake intensity Zone
VIII. The subject property is located 10-15 miles southwest of the
Foothill. Shear Zone which supported the 1975 Oroville earthquake.
Construction of buildings to Uniform Building Code standards for
scismically active areas should provide adequate protection to
occupants in case of seismic activity,
16d As development occurs, each parcel will require separate septic
system and loachfields. The specific uses on-site will determine if
public sewer will be required to serve the parcels.
