A pre -inspection was made and found electrical violations at the service and sub -panels. The inspector noted that the electric service was without deadfront, grounding was questionable, wiring was improper, breakers were missing, and a new panel was needed on the house. On 5/27/98, Shawna Brown submitted a refund claim for the permit application referenced above. She stated the following reason for the request: "owner decided not to rent the house to the applicant". A refund claim can not be processed with the electric service in this condition and it is imperative that electric service and sub -panels be brought into compliance. The permit application is still valid. Based on our findings during the pre -inspection, it will be necessary to include a miscellaneous wiring permit with the service change permit. That fee is $23.00.
