The property is located on the,Biggs-Gridley Road, at Route -2, Box 691 (A. P. r'22-22-03 ) .. There are apparently eight people living in the dwelling which is def- initely sio-standard. Hazardous conditions existing consist of the elec- trical %i -ring, the .,rood burning stove ,,.lhich does not provide adequ2:te'- heating for the house, and the improperly vented *.,rater heater. tiny one of the above items could cause a fire at any time. It is our opinion that the structure is in such -a state of disrepair and general dilapidation that it is not worthy of repair. The Lopez's in trying to alleviate their housing problem attempted to build a. new addition, but did so •7iri thout benefit of a building permit and without pro-er knowledge of construction practices. Consequently.all of their efforts -,,:ere in vain as T:.,;hat they have constructed must be torn down and rebuilt according ' to proper methods. However due to the hazardous conditions mentioned above the Lopez family is in dire need of immediate housing. Since they own the lard it is our thought that a mobile home, located on the same site would best meet their needs until such time as they could build suitable housing. 1:7e hesitate to take action to have the family evicted until they.have assurance of adeduate housing, but they are in a potentially dangerous situation..so long as they stay inhere they are.
