The SOUTH and WEST walls — all framing will be matched.with 2X2's (sill, plates, studs, and headers — will have 2X2's nailed over them to bringing the framing of the SOUTH and WEST walls to the level of 2X6 framing. The walls will be insulated with batts to fit in the 2 X 6 space on the south and the west walls (R-19 ... foil covered.). The east wall will be insulated with the same batts to go in the existing 2 X 4 space (R-19). 5/8 inch drywall will be nailed and/or screwed over that. The ceiling will be tongue and groove cedar. Two other options are being considered depending on a decision concerning the quality of seal in the room.
