At the regular meeting of the Butte County Boardof Supervisors held
December 3, 1985, the Board upheld your appeal of the denial by the
Advisory Agency of the above -referenced project and adopter) the
mitigated negative declaration regarding environmental impact for
AP 24-11-76.
Approval of the final map is subject to the conditions as lusted on
the attached sheet. When the conditions of approval are complied with,
it will be in order for Big Valley Chemical to file their "final map"
with the Department of Public Works for recordation within twenty-four
months of the date of the Board of Supervisors' action,

Mr. Streeter said that since this application was made, there have been
hearings and actions taken by the Planning Commission and soon thz Board
on the General Plan and Zoning in this area. Based on the General Plan and
Zoning, both existing and proposed, this project is not found in conformance.

Mr. Streeter stated: I will make a motion on gig Valley Chemical Company
Parcel map, AP 24-11-76 to create 3 parcels, to deny the map due to it not
being consistent with the Butte COLInty General Plan and further finding
that hearings are in process concerning consistent zoning and the General.
Plan in the Gridley vicinity. Motion seconded by Mr. Reid and carried
unanimously.
