(SAL..) (VIDEO) The Commission waived the reading of the Staff Ftepod.. A video of the site was shown. Steve Lucas gave a brief summary of the project. Mr, Lucas said the tower will be a free standing tower with a light at the top for aviation safety. The hearing was opened to the public. Mike Shoaff s;,id the FAA requires a light and special painting on towers .200 feet or more in height, and this, tower. will lie 200 feet tall. He said he was cor�cerned with Condition 2 because this will be an unmanned tower and there will not be a need for fire protection. Commissioner Lynch asked if the tower will interfere with local TVs or radios? Mr. Shoaff said there will be no interference: Mr. Hogan suggested the Commission add to Condition 2 "or to the satisfaction of the Fire Chief." Commissioner Lynch said he talked to an agricultural pilot regarding notification t6the pilots of the towerinstallation. He said he would like this added to Condition 4. Lois.
