vhlv could lead to additional runoff and erosion potential which could
affect area drainage ways. Due to the size of parcels and the

ig Development of two homesites would represent an incremental. loss

1hr All of Butte County is within a Moderate Earthquake Intensity Zone
vlII. The subject property is located approximately 4 miles west ot:
faults associated with the Foothill Shear zone which supported the 1975
croville Earthquake. Construction of buildings to Uniform Building
Come Standards for seismically active areas should provide adequate
•protection to occupants in qase of seismic activity.
3d,j: Portions of the property are subject to flooding from the Wyman
Ravine System. .ecause of the size of the parcels, adequate building
areas will exist on, property riot normally subject to flooding. Itis
recommended that areas subject to flooding 'be shown on thy: final map.

lead to an incremental increase in traffic and associated traffic

DISCUSSION OF ENVIRONMENTAL, EVALUATION AP#24-24-45
lb,e,f; 3b,f: The potential development of two homesites on the
property could lead to disruption, displacement, compaction and
overcovering of the soil, which could lead to changes in absorption
rates, drainage patterns or the rate and amount of surface runoff.
This could lead to additional runoff and erosion potential which could
effec1L area drainage ways. Due to the size of parcels and the
agricultural nature of the area, this should not be a significant
effect.
19: Development of two homesites would represent an incremental loss
Of agricultural lands in a rural area. Due to the size of the parcels
and the nature of agricultural operations, this should not be a
