Mr. Baker has recently acquired this property. On the property sits an older home with a related garage. There is also evidence of a trailer pad. The property, although shown in the flood plain, actually sits upon a slight rise and is considerably higher in elevation than the property to the east. In an attempt to prove that the referenced parcel does not have a flooding problem, we took elevations of the neighboring houses (finished floor), along Grover Lane and of Mr. Baker's parcel. We assumed an elevation of 100.00' at the intersection of Grover Lane and Highway 70. The elevation of the finished floor for the Ray Phillips home (AP 25-03-09) is 94.87'. The elevation for the Dean Perkins home (AP 25-03-08) is 92.31'. The elevation on Mr. Baker's property are as follows: a) finished floor on house, 95.43'; b) trailer pad, 94.53'; c) garage floor, 95.70'. Enclosed are statements from Mr. Perkins and Mr. Phillips indicating that they have not experienced a flooding problem. Since their, property is lower in elevation, it is unlikely that Mr. Baker would experience a flooding problem. From this investigation, we have determined the highest,,. water level elevation that has occured in the last 25 years to be at elevation 91.501. Because of the storms that have occured during this period and this period of time was before WILLIAM W. GEDDIS JOHN D. CHRISTOFFERSON KENNETH C.
