Building permits are not required to be signed by property owners unless they are personally performing their own work. Additionally, a temporary mobile home shall not be permitted on a lot or parcel where there is an approved Second Unit. 6. The permit shall be granted for a term of two years. Extensions of the term for the permit, not exceeding one year for each extension, may be granted if the application for the extension is filed, with the Planning Division, within 60 calendar days prior to the date.of expiration. The mobile home shall be vacated upon expiration, or revocation, of the Permit and removed within one hundred twenty (120) days after expiration of the Permit. If it is not removed within one hundred twenty (120) days, the County shall remove said mobile home and store it at the owner's expense. Inspection was made at the request of the owner who indicated that the contractor had improperly installed the awning and that it had failed ina recent storm as a result. Gary found that the augers installed to hold down the awning had pulled up form the ground, probably due to high winds during the storm. Failure of the awning did not appear to be a contractors installation problem. Soil capacity at the site for earth augers appears questionable.
