Dear Mr, Wood:
On July. 29, 1994, Klelnfelder observed tensioning of the 5/8 Inch ASTM A 325 high
strength bolts at the sul Ject project site. Bolts and nuts were identified per the
AISC Manual of Steel Construction,
Tensioning was by the turn of the nut method, Our representative calibrated the
erectors tensioning proccdurc using three holt assemblages in our Skidinoves
Wilhelm Tensi(in 0alibrator. Subsequent to calibration, our representative verified
the tenSlaning procedure was implemented at each tension connection.
Based on the calibration tests and our observations, the work was completed in
accordance with the approved plans and specifications, Tension connections ,
observed meet the minimum tension requirements of the UBC 27-70 Table D.
We have employed generally accepted inspection and testing procedures. However,
we do not undertake the ,guarantee of construction nor do we relieve the contractor
of his primary respons#billty to produce a completed project conforming to the '
project plans and specifications_ i

Dear Mr. Henry:
As noted in our plancheck of the building for Chris Morris which is to be a prefabricated Butler
Building supplied by North Valley Read-Mix-Agri-Systms, the following changes have been
made:
The existing storage building is an old wood framed building and the owner will provide
what information is available concerning the date or erection.
2. Additional dimensions and a scale have been added to the Building Location Detail on
sheet 1 of the drawings.
3. This permit application is for the building shell only, as noted under the floor plan notes
on sheet 2 of the drawings, all electrical and mechanical systems are to be designed by
others and will be installed under a separate permit.
4. Natural lighting will be provided to comply with UBC Section 705. For the main portion
of the building, additional skylight panels have been added so that the total will be 10 -
3'x10' panels. The total area of skylight is now 300 square feet or 10% of the 3000
square foot room.
5. An additional note requiring special inspection of high strength bolting has been added to
sheet 1 of the drawings.
In addition, the proposed use of the building is being changed to storage for agricultural
equipment and supplies.

2. Make sure `that the power supply cord or feeder assembly conductors, including neutral
conductor, have been disconnected.
3. Switch all breakers and switches in the mobilehome to the "on" position.
4. Connect one lead of a test instrument to the mobilehome grounding conductor and
apply the other lead to -each mobilehome supply conductor, including neutral.
5. All non-current, carrying metal parts of the mobilehome (aluminum siding, gas line,,
water line), including fixtures and appliances, shall be tested for continuity from
such equipment and the grounding conductor.
6. Upon completion of the above procedure, the power supply cord or feeder assembly
conductors shall be connected to the site service equipment. A further continuity
test shall then be made between the grounding electrode and.the chassis of the
mobilehome. Upon satisfactory completion of the electrical tests, the lot or site
service equipment may be approved for energizing.

apply the other lead to each mobilehome supply conductor, including neutral:
S. 'All non-current, carrying metalparts of the mobilehome (aluminum siding, gas line,
water line), including fixtures and appliances, shall betested for continuity from
such equipment and the grounding conductor.
6. Upon completion of the above procedure, the power supply cord or feeder.assembly
conductors shall be connected to the site service equipment. A further continuity
test shall'then be made between the grounding electrode and the chassis of the
mobilehome. Upon,satisfactory completion of theelectrical tests, the lot or site
service equipment may be approved for energizing.

FOR RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT
Section 26-8 of the Butte County Code required this acknowledgment to be recorded prior to issuance of a building permit. The
property described herein is adjacent to land or included within an area zoned for agricultural purposes, and residents of this
property may be subject to inconveniences or discomfort from the use of agricultural chemicals, including, but not limited to
herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers; and from the pursuit of agricultural operations including, but not limited to cultivation,
plowing, spraying, pnlning, and harvesting which occasionally generate dust, smoke, noise, and odor. Butte County has established
