Failure ,to obtain the required permits, inspections and approvals from this office for installation of a mobilehome. Occupying the mobilehome.without the required approvals. Since the additional living unit is not permitted in the A-5 zone, the mobilehome must be removed from the property or the occupancy and use must cease and desist immediately and the mobilehome be placed in dead storage. It is the County's goal to obtain voluntary compliance with the ,Butte County Code. However, you should be advised that Butte County has an active Code Enforcement Program which provides an effective means of enforcement if voluntary compliance is not obtained. Donna Sperling Office Assistant III AN 025-220-065 10/18/99 Contacted Edwin Hoyt, advised him that they needed to disconnect the electrical to the illegal mobilehome today. Also that they needed to vacate the mobile by 10/22/99. Mr. Hoyt told me that they would be gone by Friday. Also contacted George Raines at the second illegal mobilehome. He was also told the same thing as Mr. Hoyt. 10/26/99 Site visit found that both mobilehomes are still hooked up to electrical via 200' extension cord. Both mobiles were posted and power and water disconnected by the property owner at my request. The singlewide mobile occupied by Mr. Raines was found to be discharging sewage onto the ground Mr. & Mrs. Hoyt came into the office to find out why the mobile was posted. I explained to them why it was done and told them they have until 5:00 PM today to vacate the mobile. I also advised them that I would provide a letter to welfare for emergency housing.
