permit for the existing driveway is not necessary and would like to have the condition
amended,
Mr. Edell said the main reason for the condition is to, require that additional amount of
paving in the public right-of-way to prevent loose material from being dragged out into

This is a proposal to divide 26.3 + /- acres to create 2 parcels; 1 at 5.6 acres and 1 at
26.4 acres, The present zoning is A,40. The Land Use Plan Map of the Butte County
General Plan designates this area as Orchard & Field Crops. There are no specific or
community plans for the area.
The proposal does not conflict with County Zoning nor any adopted or proposed
Element; of the 'Butte County General Plan nor any specific or community plan. The
request will not allow additional development, but will permit more economically efficient
land units:
This project is an activity determined to fall under the general rule exemption in that this
project will not result in a significant impact on the environment. No additional,
development will result if theproject is approved, therefore the. project. is exempt from
tre requirements of CEQA.
