As of the date of this letter, the following violations still exist: 1: The storage of "junk" in the public view as listed in Butte County Code sections 24-21.240 and 11-4. 2: Establishing a junkyard as defined in Butte County Code section 24-21.250 and operating an automotive repair shop are not allowed uses in an A-5 (agricultural) zone per section 24-72 of the Butte County Code. Per section 24-64 of -the Butte County Code, all uses of land within a zoned district not specifically authorized or permitted by the regulations are prohibited. 3: The installation and occupation of the second dwelling, a mobile home, is not an allowed use in an A-5 zone per section 24-72(A)(1). 4: The electrical connection to the unauthorized 2nd dwelling is in violation of the National Electrical Code-, which was adopted by Butte County by.section 27-1 and can be charged under section 27-6. 5: Section 19-3 of the Butte County Code states that it shall be unlawful for any person to maintain, occupy or use any, building not provided with a sewage disposal system which disposes of sewage in a'sanitary manner. r• e Butte County Code section 19-5(a) states that. No person shall begin or cause to have begun construction of any building or any sewage disposal system without first submitting plans of the means of sewage disposal to the health officer and obtaining a permit therefor from the health officer.. The above -listed violations shall be corrected or abated by you by: ' A: Remove the appearance of a Junkyard by restricting the amount of Junk and Junked vehicles to no more than 100 square feet. " B: Stop the automotive repair business activities by only working on vehicles that are registered to you. C: Do not allow the occupation of the unauthorized dwelling. Place the mobile home into "dead storage" by disconnecting the electrical line and the water connection.. Unless the violations are so corrected or abated, a citation shall be issued to you to appear in court for said violations and for failing to comply with this notice.
