I made`on the 10th, and 11th. of June to determine 1) the elevation of the 100 year plain, and 2) elevation of the "finished floor" of your residence on Palermo Road. j. I determined the elevation of the 100 year flood to be 154 feet using the "FIRM" (Flood Insurance Rate Map) from the Federal Emergency i Management Agency. A survey made on the 12th of June from BM # 15 (Butte County), elevation 153.67 feet, a concrete headwall on the north side of Palermo Road approximately 300 feet east of Occidental Ave, to your front porch landing results in an elevation of 154 feet for the landing. The f i ni sh floor of your home at. 154.3 feet is therefore above the 100 year flood plain. E. NEVADA n. E. OREGON P. E. December 16, 1987 I have personally inspected the proposed mobile home site location at the corner of Palermo Road and Occidental Avenue. This proposed mobile home site is approximately 5 feet above the Wyman Ravine Flood Plain. After consulting the Wyman Ravine Drainage Study the proposed mobile home site is above the areas of potential inundation and therefore should be approved. The flood elevation will be approximately 156.5 msl and the 100 year flood elevation is approximately 152.0. Your attention is directed to Crossing 25 of the Wyman Ravine Drainage Study Map`16. This crossing, across Palermo Road just east of Wyman Avenue, is considered adequate. It is expected that flooding will occur downstream of this crossing.
