With reference :o the above subject and your request for inspection of the deck,
garage, shed, and screened room conversion to a family room and bathroom at 1925
North Villa Avenue, in Palermo, the inspection was made on April 10, 1996.
The deck, garage, shed, and screened room conversion' were constructed without
permits and inspections from this office, so we were not able to perform the required
inspections duri-ig construction. We therefore made a reasonable visual inspection,
without going on the roof, under the building, or in the attic and found the additions
and room conversion appear to conform to the intent of code requirements, except for
the following wl-ich must be completed or resolved:
1) Provide Environmental Health Department Approval
2) Provide verification that all plumbing fixtures are trapped and vented, and
otherwise properly installed.
3) Provide verification that the entire building structural system is adequate
including the foundation, floor, wall, ceiling and roof systems. In the
underfloor area this shall include access, clearances, ventilation, and
wood earth separation.
4) Provide verification that the electrical system is properly installed
including grounding and bonding system at service and receptacles,

bonding of interior metal piping, ,wire and breaker size, and G.F.I.
protection in bathroom, garage, and exterior receptacles. Provide a light
at all exits.
5) Provide a heating system
6) Provide a properly installed, listed wood stove, and expose the type A
flue for visual inspection.
7) Move the electrical power pole to the exterior of the structure.
8) Provide a fire wall between the garage and the mobile home.
9) Provide adequate light and ventilation per Title 25, California Code of
Regulations, (Mobile Home Parks Act) and per Uniform Building Code.
10) Repair roofing.
11) Provide minimum seven (7) foot ceiling height in bathroom.
12) Comply with any items identified during plan check.
Inspection by the County of Butte does not act as a guarantee or warranty as to the
internal soundness of said deck, garage, shed, and screened room conversion.
It is now in order for you to submit complete plans in triplicate to this office including
plot plans, foundation plans, floor plans and structural details, apply for the required
permits, and pay the appropriate fees.
The permits must be obtainedrp for to any work being done, and the above listed
items completed within thirty (30) days of the date of this letter.

Section 41-2, we sent you a courtesy notice dated May 20, 1996 notifying
you that you are in violation of the BCC at the above -referenced location.
As of this date, the following violations still exist:

room conversion for mobilehome in violation of the Mobilehome Parks
Act of Title 25, California Code of Regulations, adopted by Section

proper arrangements to correct or abate the violation(s) voluntarily, within
ten 10 days from the date of this letter, enforcement shall be pursued
through the issuance of a citation (ordering you to appear in court) for
