This letter will confirm our inspection of the above rental unit
.,on June 17, 1993 in answer to a complaint. The tenants permitted
me to enter the premise for the purpose of an inspection.
Numerous violations of the California Health and.Safety Code
Section 17920.3 or Butte County Codes were noted and are listed
below. These items pose a health and safety hazard to the
tenants or the public.

this building substandard and not suitable for human habitation.
A reinspection of the house is required upon completion of the
work.
Under Sections 17299 and 24436.5 of the California Revenue and
Taxation Code you will be prevented from claiming state tax
deductions for depreciation, amortization, or interest expenses
connected with this property as long as it remains substandard.

RE: Housing inspection at 1951 Baldwin, Palermo AP#026-113 20
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Bhardwaj:
This letter will confirm our inspection of 1951 Baldwin Avenue on
June 26, 1995. The occupants, permitted me to enter the premises
for the purpose of an re -inspection. A previous housing letter
from our department was sent July 15, 1993. Violation corrections
observed during my inspection consist of the following:
1. New hot water heater
2. Kitchen sink plumbing corrected, doesn't drain upon
the ground.
3. Ceiling in bathroom and laundry room has been
repaired. .
4. Electrical sockets cover plates have been provided.
5. Lavatory drains properly
6. Walls repaired throughout
7. Holes in ceiling and bathroom roof repaired
8. Smoke detector provided
The following are violations of California Health and Safety Code
Section 17920.3 that were noted during my June 26, 1995 inspection.
1. Occupants purports roofs leaks by bathroom sink
a. Noted deteriorated wood paneling around
bath tub.
b. Ceiling deteriorated in utility room,
occupant claims roof leaks.
2. No vent for gas range
3. Hole in rear wall of kitchen
4. Occupant claims electrical circuit breaker is
activated whenever toaster or micro oven is used.
5. Kitchen floor and bathroom floors not level.
a. Noted foundation consist of cement blocks
that list or have settled.

In addition other violations may be present which have not been
specifically noted.
