We ran levels from County Bench Mark #1229 to the subject property.
Bench #1229 is a brass disk in the bridge over Wyman Ravine on Lincoln
Boulevard, approximately I mile North of Messina Avenue.
The published elevation for this bench mark is 175.24. (Reference. -
Butte County Public Works Department.)'
This Bench Mark was derived from U.S.C. and G.S. bench Mark S-847-1948
(1964 datum), a bronze disk located 1 mile Northwest on the railroad
bed, 3/10 of a mile North of Wyman Ravine.
We established an elevation on . -a piece of 1 inch drill steel at the
Northeast corner of the property of 162.06.
The average ground elevation is 161.19. The flood maps for this area
show a flood elevation of*162.
Therefore, the finished floor elevation should be 163.00 or 0.94 feet
above the top of the drill steel,,approximately 1.81 feet above the
existing ground.

BUILDING EFARTMENT
Subject -Flood Plain
A.P. #.26-12-1-1
Investigation of designated flood area involving the
above parcel. Lot location is 2121 North Villa Street,
vested in the names of Oliver L. Grim and Dorothy M. Grim.
The area's main drainage course runs parallel to
Perkins Avenue, crossing North Villa through open ground
draining Southerly (contiguous to the West boundary of above
parcel). Another drainage course drains Easterly, North of
.and parallel to North Villa Avenue.
These drainage courses are.4, 4 1/2 and then 5 feet
lower in:elevation than the ground surface of the proposed
building'site, (see attached drawing *). Heighth flood level
reported es verest runoffs, are lower than said purposed
building lot (drawing *).
Recommended is a building foundation pad, using Butte
Rock road mix (3/4 to dust) or other acceptable material.
This pad to be one foot higher than recorded highest flood
level. Mobile home support columns, pads and wedges shall.
be constructed upon said foundation pad.
