At that time we observed tracer dye in the creek adjacent to the septic tank serving your house. Tracer dye had been flushed down your toilet on December 21, 1992. We also observed a pipe leading from your kitchen sink drain emptying directly into the creek. Both of these conditions are violations of County Code Sections 19.4(b) and 19.4(c) because they result in sewage flowing or seeping into a stream and make sewage accessible to rodents, insects or humans. These conditions also create a potential health hazard and a nuisance. Repair of the septic system will require the issuance of a septic repair permit.
