As I have stated, I purchased this property just over two years ago and at that time I was never informed about the storage building on this site as being built without a proper permit. In the course of my attempt to construct a new building within the limits of the law, I only learned at this time that the building in question (small storage building) was not up to code., - As we discussed, I am aware of the Code Enforcement Program, since I have worked within an organization that was instrumental in acquiring funding for the program. I am aware that this building is in violation and I intend to make the necessary changes to bring it within the prescribed limits of the code. I hope to begin this process in the near future and as we discussed, I am currently in the process of building a garage on my property. Soon after this construction is complete, I will begin work on the building in question and I expect to either have the building removed or brought up to code, the latter will be done with proper permits. I hope this letter will remind you of my intentions and my good faith effort to correct this problem. All I need is a little time to get this complete. Thank you for your understanding.
