This house, which is constructed of hollow concrete masonry units.unreinforced, has been damaged by the earthquake and is in a'serious state of disrepair and deterioration, and must'either be demolished'or rehabilitated. If you decide to rehabilitate this structure, the following items must be done: 1. Submit a structural analysis of the building prepared by a registered civil engineer or architect licensed by the -State of California'and a'plan to repair or replace the damaged structural system. 2. Remove or reconstruct the front porch. 3. Remove the fireplace chimney to the ceiling and replace with a Type A Flue. 4. Replace ail plumbing fixtures, connect to sewer, and vent:all fixtures. 5. Provide a new electric service and replace all fixtures, receptacles, and switches,, and clean up the electric system for a safe -operating system. 6. Verify adequacy of the water supply and.sewage systems. 7. Replace all doors and windows and make building westhertite._ _ 8. Replace wallboard or patch all damaged walls and ceilings and paint as necessary. -� 9. Provide a heating system and hot water heater installed per code requirements. 10. Portions of the floor system, especially in the front bedroom and front room, show signs of structural deficiencies and deterioration:- These systems must be repaired and all dry -rotted and/or deteriorated materials must be replaced.
