Beginning on the easterly terminus bf the northerly sideline of said strip from which the East

point of beginning along a 50 foot radius curve concave to the southwest, the chord of which
bears North 81 °41'57" West 98.95 feet, the central angle of said curve is 163°23'54"; thence
along the arc of said curve a distance of 142.59 feet to the end of said curve and the beginning of
a curve to the right having a radius of 20 feet, a central angle of 73°23'54", thence along the arc
of said curve a distance of 25.62 feet to a point on the northerly sideline of said strip; thence East
along said northerly sideline 117.08 feet to said point of beginning.

EXCEPTING THEREFROM a strip of land 100 feet in width which was conveyed by Philip
Riley Persons to Western Pacific Railway Company, a railroad corporation, by deed, dated
January 30, 1906, and recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of said County of Butte on
