We are disputing the violation of any permits, inspections or approvals regarding the construction of a cabana: All fees for the mobile home and cabana were taken care of when the mobile home was set up on the property at 1636 18th St in November of 1975. The cabana is indicated on the drawing along with the placement of the mobile home. All of these drawings and paperwork were submitted to you at that time. Your inspector signed off the mobile home and cabana upon the final approval for all utilities. If a problem existed, it was your responsibility to notify us at that time. We have lived here for eighteen years and now you are citing us for an oversight on your departments part. We are disputing the violation of any permits, inspections or approvals regarding theconstruction of our swimming pool in 1980. The pool was constructed by Poly Pools of Oroville. They had to submit all of the required drawings, paperwork and permits to your department. We were not allowed to fill the pool until the final inspection had been made. This is negligence on your departments part for failing to complete your files on a timely basis. Instead you have waited thirteen years to bring this matter to our attention. On 7/1/93 I signed a blank permit application sheet for a proposed AG exempt building at 1636 18th St. Upon return of the sheet to me, someone had placed a checkmark by #31 (Existing violations and expired permits) I did not sign this sheet to acknowledge any existing violations, and I find this unethical on the part of your staff. s� Department of Development Services 10/7/93 Pg. 2 We would appreciate it if you would adjust your files to reflect the correct information, so we can bring this matter to a close.
