F� COUNTY OF BUTTE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS 7 COUNTY CENTER DRIVE OROVILLE, CA 95965 SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR ENCROACHMENT PERMITS A.' No ponding and jetting under any roadway. B. All pavement removed shall be replaced with a minimum of eight inches of aggregate base and two inches of asphalt concrete surfacing; or conform to existing structural section; or conform to special trench detail, whichever is greater. C. All road crossings of pipelines shall be jacked or otherwise forced underneath pavement without disturbing same, unless specifically approved by the Department of Public Works. D. Minimum depth of cover over a11 facilities shall be 30 inches. E. Material for use as backfill in any existing or proposed roadway section shall be sand, placed in eight -inch lifts and compacted to a relative compaction of not Jess than 95%. F. All drainage ditches and roadaide gutters which are disturbed in the course of, construction shall be reconstructed to the satisfaction of the Department of Public Works. G. Material for use as backfill .n roadside gutter excavations shall be the native material, compacted to a relative compaction of not less than 90%. H. When cable is to be buried in an existing roadside ditch, said ditch shall be paved whenever the road grade exceeds. 6% and this paving shall extend down grade to the nearest cross culvert or drainage swale.
