Gentlemen:
On December 2, 1993 an inspection was made of the above noted premises as part of the Butte
County Housing Rehabilitation project currently underway.
The dwelling is a one story brick structure with a composition shingle roof. There is a partial
basement which houses a natural gas fired water heater and natural gas fired furnace.
The dwelling is served by domestic water by a permitted public water supply and sewage
disposal is by means of a sewerage district.
This Department recommends work to be completed as included within the Housing Repair
Program Work write-up dated September 10, 1993.
The following items are required to comply with minimum requirements of the California State
Housing Law.
EXTERIOR
1. Replace existing water service line (garden hose) with service line constructed of
appropriate material and at appropriate depth.
2. Repair/replace threshold at "french -doors" so it is weathertight. Remove and replace
any water damaged flooring materials.

3. Repair/replace roofing as needed to provide for a weathertight structure.
4. Disconnect existing rubber hose extensions on water heater and replace with
appropriate rigid material.
5. Extend water heater P.R.V. discharge line to the outside of building and down toward
ground.
INTERIOR
1. Provide smoke detector in sleeping areas and hallways or corridors leading to sleeping
areas.
All repairs, reconstruction, replacement or patching shall be completed to the extent necessary
to result in a finished project. This may require new material. Inspection permits shall be
obtained as required.

Gentlemen:
On December 2, 1993 an inspection was made of the above noted premises as part of the Butte
County Housing Rehabilitation project currently underway.
The -dwelling is a one story brick structure with a composition shingle roof. There is a partial
basement which houses a natural gas fired water heater and natural gas fired furnace.
The dwelling is served by domestic water by a permitted public water supply and sewage
disposal is by means of a sewerage district.
This Department recommends work to be completed as included within the Housing Repair
Program Work write-up dated September 10, 1993.
The following items are required to comply with minimum requirements of the California State
Housing Law.
EXTERIOR
1. Replace existing water service line (garden hose) with service line constructed of
appropriate material and at appropriate depth.
2. Repair/replace threshold at "french -doors" so it is weathertight. Remove and replace
any water damaged flooring materials.

3. Repair/replace roofing as needed to provide for a weathertight structure.
4. Disconnect existing rubber hose extensions on water heater and replace with
appropriate rigid material.
5. Extend water heater P.R.V. discharge line to the outside of building and down toward
ground.
INTERIOR
1. Provide smoke detector in sleeping areas and hallways or corridors leading to sleeping
areas.
All repairs, reconstruction, replacement or patching shall be completed to the extent necessary
to result in a finished project. This may require new material. Inspection permits shall be
obtained as required.
