Codes as follows:

BCC 24/24-140 Zoning does not Authorize Use
BCC 26-102 Unsafe Buildings or Structures
ACTION NEEDED TO CORRECT OR ABATE THE NONCOMPLIANCE
The above violation(s) shall be corrected or abated by you by removing all trash, rubbish, garbage, junk and junk vehicles
from your property and by applying for the required permits to bring the residential buildings to within minimum standards,
and paying the appropriate fees, including penalties. After permit issuance and field authorization to proceed, the work must
be completed and approved by this office within the permit specified time.
Upon all work to correct or abate the noncompliance being completed and approved by the affected department, and payment
of a fee of $300.00, a Notice of Compliance shall be submitted to the Recorder of Butte County for recordation pursuant to
Butte County Code Section 41-6.1(k) and 41-9.

This department received a complaint alleging health and safety hazards at the above referenced
living unit. On April 4, 2001 an inspection was conducted by this department. The owner (Earl
Bradbury) and tenants are not currently occupying the structure. The structure at this site has
numerous electrical hazards including but not limited to open conductors and conductor splices,
unprotected conductors, and a lack of proper grounding and bonding. The structures have been
posted for nonhabitation.
As the Chief Building Inspector for Butte County, I am requesting that the electrical and gas to
the structure referenced above be disconnected until appropriate actions are taken to resolve the
hazards. Further, I request that the electrical and gas service not be reconnected until an
authorization from this Department is granted to do so. This letter shall also serve as notice to the
property owner and tenants that the electrical and gas service is to be disconnected.
