Johnson Gentlemen: This is to advise that to the best of my knowledge, and particularly since 1976 when I assumed the position of44&4h-tqe-r/ 9 Assistant Manager of Riverland Mobile Home Ranch, a standard lb. test awning was attached for many years to the above-mentioned Lancer mobile home, formerly owned by Mrs. Welthy Johnson and now being purchased by Mr. and Mrs. Stanley J. Renfro of Alameda. The awning in question is approximately 30 ft. in length, 8 ft. in width, pink and white in color, made of standard material, and was anchored or attached to the mobile home with flashing and brackets and to the concrete patio with posts, all according to code and in excellent condition. The mobile home in question was recently disassembled and transported to the Renfro's property in Oroville by Brock's Mobile Home Transport, Redding, and I understand that the new owners wish to have the same awning re -attached to this mobile home and have applied for a permit to your Department and appear anxious to follow the requirements and regulations in accomplishing this aspect of their project. For further clarification, Mrs. Johnson has advised Mr. & Mrs. Renfro and the undersigned that her insurance company originally had this awning attached to the mobile home in January of 1974 after a wind -storm,: and hence there are no "set-up instructions" nor a Standard Plan Approval (SPA) number available at this time. I can, however, without hesitation vouch for the excellent condition the awning was in for the last several years while in Space #8 of our Mobile Home park.
