RE: Housing Complaint — 1070 Long Bar Road, Oroville, CA — AP# 33--11-55
Dear Mr. Rowell, etal:
This department has received complaints alleging.health and safety hazards and
garbage and trash accumulations in the house on the above listed property. The
Butte County Assessors records indicate you are the owner of the property.
On April 22, 1983, I visited the site, and determined that the house was vacant.
I did not enter the dwelling. An external inspection revealed the following
conditions which are in violation of the California Administrative Code, Title
25, Chapter 1, Subchapter 1.; State Housing Law Regulations; The California
Health and Safety Code, Section 17920.3 (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (g), and (j),
and the Butte County Code, Chapter 31. Section 31-8 — Refuse Removal.
1. There is an accumulation of garbage, trash, junk, and refuse in the yard
'area surrounding the house, and in the basement area of the house.
2. Windows and doors are broken or missing, and not weatherproof.
3. Side porch is in poor repair, stairs and railings are in poor -and unsafe
condition..
These conditions shall be corrected as follows within THIRTY (30) DAYS and as
indicated.
1. Remove all of the accumulated garbage, trash, junk and refuse from the yard
area and the basement and properly dispose of the same at a county approved
disposal site within FIFTEEN.(15) DAYS, from receipt of this notice.
2. Replace broken and missing windows and doors. and secure the dwelling to
entry.

3• Repair or replace deteriorated side porch, and provide proper stairs, and
porch railings.
Contact this department and arrange for a complete inspection of the dwelling
within THIRTY (30). DAYS and prior to renting or allowing any occupancy of this
structure.

Oroville, CA 95965, telephone 916-534-4541; to obtain any required permits prior
to making any repairs.
