The inspection was made as a part of the rehabilitation project currently under- way in the South Oroville area. The building is of a wood frame construction with wood siding, composition shingle roof, and a concrete black foundation, -The foundation and under floor support system was completely revarrtped.a.fet: years ago, as was the electrical wiring system and the plumbing. The original main structure was added on to sometime in the past and contains sloping floors, leaning walls and low ceilings, but appears solid. The building is in a safe sanitary and habitable condition. However,,to make the dwelling more habitable and to prolongits useful life, the following items are recommended: 1. Reconstruct the added on portion of the dwelling to correct the sloping floors, the leaning walls and the low ceilings. 2. Provide in of walls to R�-11 and ceiling to R-19 standards. 3. Provide smoke detector. 4. Provide new siding, doors, and windows, replacing any damaged or deteriorated materials in the walls and adding bracing and studding, etc.. as may be necessary. Any repairs, reconstruction, replacement or patching undertaken shall be completed to the extent necessary to result in a finished product.
