Kilgore 2610 Spencer Street _ Oroville, CA 95966 RE: Housing'Complaint - 1921 Jefferson Street, AP# -35-20-31 Dear Ms.'Kilgore: Oroville, CA/ This- department has received another complaint on the above listed rental dwelling. The Butte County,Assessor's records indicate you are the owner of the property. On June 15, 1987, I visited the property and the tenant permitted me to inspect her rental dwelling. The following items were observed which -are in violation of the California Health and Safety Code, Section 17920.3 (d), and (j) and which present safety hazards to the tenants. 1. Ceiling light fixture has been removed in dining room and electrical wiring is exposed presenting hazard of electrical shock. 2. Wall receptacle and light switch is missing in rear bedroom with wiring exposed and presenting electrical shock hazard. 3. Light fixture is missing on hallway wall presenting electrical shock hazard. 4. Wall area outside, beside sewer line is open allowing entry of rodents, cats, and other animals under house. These conditions shall be corrected as follows, and.within THIRTY (30) DAYS from receipt of this notice. Obtain any required permits from the Butte County Department of Public Works, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, CA prior to making repairs. 1. Replace missing ceiling light fixture in dining room. You will then - be -prevented from claiming state tax deductions for taxes, depreciation, amortization, or interest expenses connected with the property as long as it remains substandard.. This notice is given to you pursuant to Sections 17299 and 24436.5 of the California Revenue and Taxation Code.
